1. Acceptance of these Terms

Access to and use of skillourfuture.org, academy.skillourfuture.org, and any related subdomains, mobile experiences, or associated sites (together, the "Sites") constitutes your acceptance of these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Sites.

2. About the Platform

SkillOurFuture is a youth digital skills learning programme. The Sites are maintained as a service to learners, partners, and the public, and include a public-facing information site (skillourfuture.org) and a learning management system, or LMS, where users can register for and complete courses (academy.skillourfuture.org).

3. Eligibility

The Sites are intended for youth learners generally aged 18 to 35 and for partner organizations, facilitators, and the general public accessing programme information. If you are accessing the Sites on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Account Registration

To enroll in courses or access certain features of the LMS, you will need to create an account and provide accurate registration information, such as your name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at dinh-long.pham@undp.org if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Sites, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration and course activities;

• Use course materials, certificates, and platform features only for their intended learning purpose;

• Not attempt to disrupt, hack, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the Sites or other users' accounts;

• Not upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable;

• Not use the Sites to impersonate any person or entity, including SkillOurFuture staff or facilitators.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

Course content, workshop materials, branding, and other materials made available through the Sites are protected under applicable copyright laws. Unless otherwise stated, materials may be reviewed and used for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes. Any reproduction or redistribution for commercial purposes requires prior written permission, and any use of programme materials should be accompanied by an acknowledgment of SkillOurFuture as the source.

Certificates issued through the LMS remain the property of the issuing programme and are non-transferable; they certify participation in or completion of a specific course and should not be represented as an endorsement beyond that scope.

7. User-Generated Content

Where the Sites allow forums, comments, assignment submissions, or similar interactive features, you acknowledge that such spaces are public or semi-public and not private communications. Submissions by other users are not endorsed by SkillOurFuture and have not been reviewed, screened, or approved by it prior to posting. We reserve the right to remove, for any reason and without notice, content submitted by users.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Sites may contain links to external websites or integrate with third-party services (for example, video hosting, or partner-hosted learning platforms). We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of external sites, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Sites and all materials made available through them are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. SkillOurFuture does not warrant that the Sites will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SkillOurFuture shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Sites.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Sites at any time, with or without notice, including for breach of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Sites after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
